Instagram new hidden feature 2020 | Customise Instagram app icon on android
Instagram is widely used social media platform and have also been able to find space in our devices too. With all the new updates including story tab, ability to like the comments , the double tap like feature, sharing stories among close friends ,highlights , shop feature ,and much more Instagram's updates have come a long way.
However besides this , Instagram had launched a new hidden feature to mark its 10th birthday and this feature allows you to customise the look of your icon on your homescreen. They have now made it easy to modify the look by providing 12 different variants to choose from. No app required for the customisation as it is provided within the app itself. This will add an instagram shortcut widget on your homescreen and the Instagram app icon will remain the same. You can always delete these shortcuts from your homescreen. I know i have sparkled your curiosity but to do this there is a little trick, so let me guide you through !!!
Let's reveal the hidden birthday surprise from Instagram !!!
STEP 1
Reach to your instagram page and tap onto the menu tab ☰ and click the setting option at the very bottom.
STEP 2
Now after we reached the setting page , swipe down a little hard until emojis are displayed .To help you with this step I have attached a small video to make it easy for you to get that little trick.
STEP 3
After this step you can now choose any among these variations available , and click on ADD .
STEP 4
We succesfully added an Instagram variant shortcut on our homescreen.
I was little too curious on how each one of it would look , and i end up doing this.
The process on IOS will be the same as in android !!!
What I would like to conclude is that,
this shortcut icon will normally redirect to Instagram and the standard icon remains unchanged in your device menu tab. So IT'S JUST A DECORATIVE ITEM TO YOUR HOMESCREEN.

DeleteWe have left a comment about this subject before. It is really very useful. But unfortunatelly we have not done anything on instegram since the 05 january 2021 (no message, no sharing, no likes etc) everything has been banned for us by the instegram. What should we do, we really dont know right now. Anyway. Happy and blessed friday to you dear friend!
