KalaJamun Recipe
INGREDIENTS
FOR SUGAR SYRUP
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- Cardamom powder ( any amount as you wish )
- 1& 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup maida
- 2 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 Eggs
INSTRUCTIONS
SUGAR SYRUP
- In a wide utensil , add 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water
- Heat the syrup on a medium flame till the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add Cardamom powder when the sugar gets dissolved.
- Cover and keep aside.
KALAJAMUN
- Sieve all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl
- Add the eggs little by little and knead the dough till you get a soft dough.
- Make small balls by greasing your hands with oil
- Fry the jamuns on a medium flame
- Stir the jamuns till it turns golden brown
- After the jamuns turn golden brown drop the hot jamuns in the sugar syrup.
- Cover the lid , Rest the jamuns for 15 mins and you are done.
